COMPOSITION
Wagyu means Wa = Japan Gyu = Beef, it is a name that includes several breeds of the ancient Japanese native breeds.
Most Wagyu have black or red coats and are commonly known as Koroge Washu and akage washu for red robes and nihon tankaku washu for short horns.
The main ones are black Japanese, brown Japanese, polled Japanese, shorthorn Japanese.
